( I was about - 4.5 and - 4.75 with astig)

Carried on the rest of the day as normal. I was informed though that my level of pain (very little) isnt normal and not to disillusion people thinking about epi-lasek - as it is normally very painful. In my opinion enough people say its painful so it should be a nice change for people to read a pleasant experience. Plus if it was so good for me who says it cant be for you???

Day 5

Back in work today - so strange to wake up and be able to see everything, not to feel around for the alarm clock or pat the wall for the light switch. Using the computers are fine, and I can see everything. I have no haze and no ghosting, fingers crossed it will stay this way now.

I would recommend this procedure to everyone, although make sure you read everything on the consent form. Optimax has been brilliant all the way and I have had contact details if I have any problems and all the eye drops I need. Couldnt of asked for more!!!

I wont blog my progress for a while, but will let you know how I am getting on. If there is anyone who wants to know more or has any questions by all means contact me.

RE: 28th June surgery my experience so far......

:Wow: Me again
Day 4

Removal of the contact bandages

Feel great today no red/dry eyes no pain very little blur

went to Bristol for the removal, which was so easy a few drops and then it was like a normal lense being removed, had eyes tested and at driving level already so really pleased.
