| just thought i would post a quick note to say i had my teatement yesterday at 5.00pm and i am nw feeling fantastic. after waiting in the waiting room since 2 i was a bit annoyed by the time 5 came. The actual treatement wasnt that bad, just a very stange a weird experience, the pain came about an hour afterwards once id got home and my god didnt i know about it! was ready to gouge my eyeballs out to stop the pain when it gradually staretd to ease down about midnight, now i am pain free - slightly light sensitive but alot less than i was expecting! Thought i would share my experience for those waiting to have or contemplating having treatemtn. I would highly reccoment it - the 4 hours pain is woth it! I can see more now than i could with my glasses on! am happy to explain anything i had to go through if it will help any ones decision in deciding!

Hi,
My vision is now nearly perfect, been for 2 checkups and they said my vision is 70% and will improve but feeles perfect to me! As i said before, pain was gone within a few hours and could see immediatley, bit blury due to the contacts they put in but these are removed the next morning.
Still having to wear my sunglasses when very bright to stop myself squinting and a bit strange to drive at night as wavefront not fully effective yet (can take up to 6 months), but apart from that its fab!
My perscription was -4 in one eye and -3.5 in the other (i think - not 100%) all i know is i was blind as a bat - couldnt read the numberplate infornt of my face!

It's interesting to see your recovery....I had my intralase lasik operation on Thursday (26th) and although I've had my first aftercare appointment where I was told I have good enough vision for driving it's still a bit blurry. What's your vision like now?
Regards
Justin
