Firstly a big thank you to all the staff at Optimax Glasgow, they are absolutely wonderful and give you such comfort. I had Laik Wavefront on the 6th on March by Dr Osmond. He was very nice and the procedure was very quick. The girls in the room were excellent, Grace and Stephanie - they put my mind at ease throughout the surgery and I can't thank them enough.

On the day I was very nervous but I had no need to be, all went perfectly and I now have better than 20:20 vision. The laser treament itself is completley painless, and I am a bit of a wimp! All you see is a red light. A suction ring is applied before the laser begins which is uncomfortable and left my eyes a little bloodshot but it does not last long and is a small inconvenience when it produces such great results. I was in and out in 20 minutes max. That's all it takes! The girls counting me down all the way, it was such a comfort.

On getting home my eyes were stingy but by the next morning it was completly fine and my vision was perfect. In the days after the surgery I've found my eyes get a little sticky from the drops but that is the only thing I've found. I've had lots of questions to ask and they have all been answered putting my mind at rest.

I would recommend Optimax Glasgow to anyone thinking about the surgery, go for the consultation and you will see from the start just how professional they are. Worth every penny!

By waking up the next morning it was crystal clear. I was -3.25 and -3.50. If there's anything else just ask, I'm happy to help.

Another quick update! Had my 6 week Check up on Friday. Apart from my parking ticket it all went well! I can now read two lines BETTER than 20:20 vision in my right eye and have 20:20 exactly in my left. This is due to still have a slight stigmatism in my left eye. The staff were still as nice as always and show a genuine interest in you. Thanks to all at Glasgow Optimax.
