Massive thumbs up from me.
Was treated Intralase/Wavefront at Brighton Clinic on Friday 2nd May, by Dr Hoe. My prescription was -1.75 L and 1.25 R
The day after the treatment I was reading 6/6 (20/20). One week on, I was reading 6/5. which is slightly better than 6/6 (20/20).
Overall, a good experience, and well worth the money in my opinion.
If other people are considering, then it has to be YOUR decision. I am now frequently asked if I would recommend having the treatment. I always reply "well yes, but my eyes are different to yours". I would never openly encourage or pester anyone into going ahead. It has to be thier decision, as I would feel pretty depressed if the results wernt what they were expecting etc etc.
The only reason I went ahead is because I am persuing a career in the Police Force, and unaided, I was not going to get in. If it was not for that sole reason, then I would have probably stuck with contact lenses.Everyone should have a definative reason why they dont want specs or contact lenses any more. But take nothing away from Optimax, the service I recieved was SUPERB, and the results simply blew me away. Waking up without reaching for the glasses seemed surreal. I am still getting slight haze off car headlights at night, but it is gradually decreasing, and I have had no other side effets.
I am now in a position to go into a career that I have always wanted.I wouldnt have been able to do that if it wasn't for Optimax.
Thank You Optimax!
