I don't really understand what this means but I have....
Right
Sph -2.75
Cyl -1.0
Axis 12.5
Left
Sph -2.50
Cyl -0.75
Axis 180
Story so far....
I have been wearing glasses since I was 15, after 20 years I thought I would give contact lenses ago. Well the first set of contacts I tried were really uncomfortable and I kept missing steps and things. Then I was told that as I had an Astigmatism I should try a toric lens, well yes that was better, trouble is that when I look in the mirror all I can see is the lens. I am now back using a regular lens that are really good for comfort but sometimes text is fuzzy. I also want to wear them everyday and have been told that I should only wear them for 12 hours per day up to 6 days per week. The lenes are -2.75 in my left and -3.00 in my right.
Anyway.....
Over the weekend I started to think that maybe I should look into having my eyes fixed. The idea of no glasses or lenses really sound good.
So...
I have made an appointment to speak with someone, but thats not for 3 weeks. So what I want to know is could I have my eyes fixed, what is it likely to cost and what would they do?

Hi
your prescription is very similar to mine before I had very successful treatment. However prescription is only one factor, for example thickness of cornea is another factor.
Only by attending the consultation can one say if you can have treatment and which type.
Cost depends on type of treatment. I had the best most expensive and paid just over £2000.
