When it says from 395 per eye, does anyone actually pay so little? From a look over the forum most people seem to be paying a hell of a lot more.
I have enough Tesco vouchers to pay for the treatment if it costs around 395 per eye. But wondered is it obviously going to be a hell of a lot more???

Hi
I believe it depends on your prescription and which treatment you choose..
People have said that if you haggle you get a much reduced price.

Hi
I couldn't respond directly to your message as it was anonymous.
I paid £895 for Lasek with Wavefront, mine was half price. My prescription was quite high, nearly minus 6 in both eyes.
You can get Wavefront for free I think, they send you various offers if you sign up quite a bit before you book the surgery, and they get better and better until you book!
Interest free credit is available to anyone with proof of income and a current account, the higher the price the longer the credit they offer.
Hope this helps, if you have any questions message me and I will try my best to answer
Naz

Hi
I had the best most expensive treatment, further complicated because I had astigmatism. So cost does depend on your prescription and type of treatment.
The treatment itself is completely painless. I now have 20/20 vision, much better than I ever had with glasses or contact lens. At optimax they will give you a printout of other people same age and prescription and it shows the success rate. Is very impressive. In short the best money I ever spent.
Hope that helps.
So POTENTIAL PATIENTS:
the good news is that I still have some £500 off vouchers. These are good for any type of Lasik or Lasek treatment. AND your consultation is free too. So please e mail me your full name and address (ideally before you book your consultation) and I will post the voucher first class.
