| I have a high prescription -9.5 and -8.5 and although eligible for Lasik, the surgeon warned that I may still need glasses and wouldn't be able to have any re-treatment as he would have to take away too much cornea - this would mean if unsuccessful I would no longer be able to wear contact lenses. On the other hand I could have 20/20 vision! Has anyone else had Lasik on a high prescription, were you pleased with the results? Desperatley want to have this done, just wish I knew the outcome!!
