Hi, well the vison is settling down, it is crystal clear in the morning then from about 4pm the long range vision is a liitle off, not much just say the leaves on a tree at about 100 feet are not as sharp as they should be. I am told that this is fine and that the eyes are healing well.

The good thing is that I dont appear at this stage to need reading glasses, which considering my age is great, this may change.

Anyway my last check up is due in three weeks.

I am amazed each day at the difference the operation has made, I would recommend this to anyone.

Hi

Story so far, the vision does seem to drop of in clarity by about 4pm, but the consultants have told me that this is fine and nomormal and will get better. My night vision is not as good as during the day, but again I am told that this will improve. It does not stop me driving as i can still read a number plate at 67 feet etc.

I have a little dryness now and again, but nothing to worry about.

The clarity in the morning is really great

If the light is good in the evening i dont need reading glasses, which is a huge bonus and was not expected.

Hope this modern tale helps some of you

I will update after the last appointment.

Hi I have just had my (almost) last chek up and my left is perfect with my right eye being -0.75, which is bloody great beng an old git two had iffy eyes.

I have very slight dry eyes but that is getting better, they have told me that when I get to my seventies !!!! the vision may go slightly -1 or -2 etc downhill, but hey who cares !if i get to that age!!

Overall, still the best thing I have spent my money on. If you have any questions please ask.

Hi, this is my last post as i have now been signed off.

My vision is settled and is now -0.2 in my left and - 0.5 in my right, the dryness has long stopped and I dont need any reading glasses, I may need a very low prescription for driving at night.

The best thing is that as they lefta  small prescription I will not really need glasses until I am very old, well a bit more than i am now.

All in all brilliant, Optimax were great.

All my best to you, so its on with my life without glasses after 46 years !!!!
