Please help, I had intralase wavefront laser done 2 weeks ago and i am really suffering, i am unable to work because the haze is awful, does anyone else know of anyone who this has happened to. I feel my sight is not as good as it was when i went for the next day follow up appointment. I really wish i had never had it done.

Went back for my 10 day checkup tuesday and they told me i have some swelling still and this is what is causing the problem, are they just trying to palm me off or are they telling the truth.

Please someone give me some feedback getting very anxious

Hey,

I had my treatment around 3 months ago. I found that i went through the sam eemotions, from happy to sad to regret.

Initially my eyesight was good, then went bad and i panicked. But it all takes time and now 3 months on, i have perfect vision and just a bit of dryness (this was a major problem before). Just give yourself some time and keep going for your follow uop checks.

I think Optimax tendas to make the whole procedure sound a lot less complicated than it actually is. I thought i was going to have the teratment and within a few days my vision will be perfect but it does take some time and the first 2 months for me was hard as my sight was detriating in both eyes (at different times).

Anyways i think you should just give it some time and hopefully it'll all be ok.

Best wishes

It is actually reassuring for me to read that others have 'mistiness' and such for some time after their surgery...as I seem to still be having 'ghosting' and also my left eye is not as good as my right. It is only 13 days since my operation and I started off with a high prescription apparently.....something like - 5.00 in the left and -4.75 in the right (I think?)...but it was the astigmatism which was the high factor according to Dr. Osman in Aberdeen who performed the op.

On the day after my operation I was supposed to have the contact lens bandages removed but apparently the doctor could not find them(??).....he said that they maybe fell out during the night...but I cannot believe that happened. I have been a contact lens wearer in the past and I think that I would have noticed that happening!

Anyway.....I could not read the board at all really that first appointment and at the week after appointment I was not much better.....but I have been reassured that I should improve. I was given more potent eye drops to take.....and also given Visco tears which I put in just before bedtime. This will promote the healing as well.

I go back at the beginning of November and I hope to be able to read the board easily by then.....fingers crossed. I was told that I would be able to drive as I was within standards!
