Hi,has anyone been able to use NHS discount as well as £100 introduction card given to me by a patient at my consultation?

I have booked treatment(Lasik/and Wavefront) in October-At Bristol clinic.

Nhs discount seems to vary- any experiences of this ?

Thanks

Hi there!  I had my eyes done on sat (intralase wavefront lasik)  and I recieved a 25% NHS discount, which was great as my treatment ended up cosing a lot more than I thought originally!  With the discount I paid £2600 and I don't have to pay until June 2009 and then it's intrest free over 24 mths.  I thought by getting the discount I wouldn't be stung on intrest so was plesently suprised that I got it intrest free!  Not sure if you can use the £100 voucher as well but I would have a go!

I had lasik intralase with wavefront on the 10th of july at leicester, i received 25% discount as i work for the nhs , but wasnt allowed to use the £100 off from my brother in law, he had treatment 2 weeks earlier.

I have 20/20 vision in my left eye and reached 18/20 in my right.

I just told them at my consultation that I worked for the NHS.  No one even asked to see my ID badge, but I had it with me just in case! Good luck x
