Have been reading about post op healing, corneal bruising and bloodshot eyes and is all starting to put me off a bit to be honest!!

I just wondered if taking some homeopathic remedies such as arnica a couple of weeks before i have the op may help with the healing? Am due to have it done in 2 weeks.

Anyone else thought of this or done it?

I didn't take arnica or anything, but I only had bloodshot eyes for less than 24 hours and only a little bruising on one eye if that helps at all!

Decided it couldn't hurt to get all the help necessary and there was a health food shop right outside the clinic. So bought some arnica and ledum (which heals puncture wounds apparently!)

Post surgery had a definite and large ring of bloodshot spots around both eyes which is now starting to disperse one week later and has nearly gone. I am prone to bloodshot eyes so thought it would be a lot worse just to let y'all know.
