We have seen and investigated into the graphic that you were shown and the technology that was used in the test were not like for like.  There were tests that were based on the actual like for like Wavefront technology using both the VISX (Optical Express) and NIDEK (used by us) platform and there were no significant differences in the results produced by either technology.

Without seeing your friend's file I cannot make a comment on his night time driving.  The Wavefront technology does reduce the risk of haloes or glares developing but the conditions in everyone's eyes will differ and certain conditions can still lead to the development of these complications.
