Good afternoon Michael,

I am very sorry but Specsavers are correct.  If you have a lazy eye that is not correctable with glasses so you require only a balanced lens then I am afraid you are not suitable for laser surgery.  Laser only corrects the need for glasses, if the sight in the eye is poor with glasses the sight after laser surgery will be the same.  We will also not treat just one eye with laser surgery if the other is poor due to the risks associated.  I am sorry but you are not suitable for laser surgery.

Kind regards,
David.
