Q26971 - FAQ: Can you have surgery if you suffer from blepharitis?

Good afternoon Donna,

Yes it is possible to still have laser eye surgery if you suffer with blepharitis.  With any condition of this nature it could depend on the severity and if any damage has been caused (if it is severe) but for most patients, with good eye care the condition will not affect your suitability.  During consultation we can assess and confirm if you are eligible to have surgery with the condition.

If you have any questions please call me on 01733 297 193 or email david.knight@optimax.co.uk.

Kind regards,
David.
